Waxwing Invasion 2024

In January the UK seen a large influx of Waxwings coming in from Scandinavia due to their hard winter conditions. It’s been a few years since Waxwings have been present in such quantities and it was nice to get out and capture a few shots. It was also a great opportunity to try out the new lens from Canon the RF 200-800mm. I’m lucky to be one of the first in the UK to receive this lens and I must say I have no regrets what so ever, especially for the cost it’s exceptional.
